Dr. Raviraj is an experienced female specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology who provides a wide range of services and the best quality care in the Northwest and Western Sydney regions. 

 

She underwent training at Western Sydney and Sydney South West Area Health Services. Since obtaining her fellowship, she has worked at a range of hospitals across Sydney including Liverpool Hospital, Westmead Private Hospital, Blacktown Hospital and Norwest Private Hospital. 

 

She currently provides quality womens' health care at Blacktown Hospital where she manages the antenatal clinic for patients with diabetes complicated pregnancies. She is also a VMO in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Westmead and Norwest Private Hospitals. 

 

By limiting her private patient intake, she is able to provide high quality obstetric care throughout her patients' pregnancies.

 

Some of her special interests include high risk obstetrics, general gynaecology, colposcopy and laparoscopic surgery. 

 

She is also a mother of two children, balancing her life between work and family. Having a family allows Dr. Raviraj to understand the stress of a pregancy, as well as that of raising a family.

 

Dr Raviraj speaks fluent Tamil and Sinhalese, which allows for easy communication with her patients.

 

She is involved in the teaching of medical students and supervising and training of junior registrars.
